O.T. Frasch Images 700-799

O.T. Frasch images in the range from 700 to 799 cover a wide range of topics with no clear theme. We don't know why. Some show specific Seattle neighborhoods such as Ballard.

Image 790 shows the S.S. Princess May, which went aground on rocks in Alaska and stayed there several weeks until the next high tide allowed it to be floated off. Many photographers went up to see it. The images Otto printed were also printed by other photographers, suggesting that he licensed the image.

Topics include:

  • Princess Angeline (printed for Ye Olde Curiosity Shop)
  • Seattle parks, churches, neighborhoods, apartment buildings, downtown buildings
  • University of Washington (after the Alaska Yukon Pacific Exposition ended)
