Nancy Columbia, best known as "Miss Columbia," was an Inuit from Labrador who was named "Queen of the Pay Streak" at the Alaska Yukon Pacific Exposition, the 1909 World's Fair held in Seattle.

The image was probably licensed from Frank Nowell, the official photographer of the A.Y.P.E., as other publishers also printed it.

Otto also printed a version with a slightly different caption, noting that she had been born at the Chicago World's Fair:

The previous caption is still visible.

Otto took his own photo of her: 607 - Miss Columbia in Grand Stand at A.Y.P.E.
