This image shows Otto's wife Mary and their first daughter Elsie at the 1909 World's Fair held in Seattle, the Alaska Yukon Pacific Exposition. Elsie would have been about 2 1/2 years old at the time. We do not know if Otto took the photo himself.

The Scotch band is visible behind them; it appears that the band had just finished playing.

An enlargement shows their faces and clothes more clearly; Mary is wearing the same dress as in Image 289 (289 - James Hill Monument A.Y.P.E.) and others:
